President Michel Martelly ordered the Parliament to convene for an extraordinary session to ratify the appointment of designated Prime Minister Daniel Rouzier.  The President of the Senate, Senator Jean Rodolph Joazile (INITE), stated that a date for the extraordinary session has not been chosen.

The designated Prime Minister Daniel-Gérard Rouzier is expected to drop off his documents at the Bureau of the Senate to begin the ratification process.
