Alain Juppé, the French Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, is in Haiti to assist the inauguration of President-elect Michel Martelly this Saturday May 14, 2011.

During a press conference at the French Embassy, Juppé stated that "Haiti will open a new chapter in her history after a difficult but successful democratic process..."
