The Haitian-American star Garcelle Beauvais will host the second edition of the Haitian Music Awards on April 23, 2011 at the Lincoln Center in New York. The event will be organised by the Haitian Academy for the Performing Arts (H.F.T.P.A).
The awards categories include: best music producer, best band/artist manager, best new group, best music video of the year, band leader of the year, male artist of the year, female artist of the year, band of the year, mini-band of the year, best male vocalist of the year, best female vocalist of the year, best racine group, best Haitian jazz, best rap/hip hop band/artist, song of the year, album of the year.
