As we were celebrating the inauguration of the self-proclaimed "President of Compas" turned President of Haiti this past Saturday May 14, 2011, many compas fans were celebrating compas music at the 13th Annual Haitian Compas Festival in Downtown Miami, Florida.
Some of the most popular groups and artists performed at that event; Harmonik, Djakout #1, CARIMI, Kreyol La, Nu Look, Disip, Zenglen, Xtassy, DPO, Mikaben, Gabel, 5 Etwal, Jhanesta, Original H, Cubano, Alison Hinds and others.
We look forward to the 14th Annual Haitian Compas Festival in 2012.
